The Stephanie Prior School of Dancing is one of the most successful and longest running dance schools in Hertfordshire. It's principal, Tara Prior, an Associate of the National Association of Teachers of Dancing, has been teaching all forms of dance for many years.
The School was founded over 30 years ago by the late Stephanie Prior, but her daughter Tara took over in 2005, and it has gone from strength to strength.
Tara provides first class teaching and opportunities for everyone from the age of 3 upwards! We teach a combination of skills which allows our students to experience technique with creativity, producing work of a very high standard.
We believe the key to our success is giving our students what they want, and at the same time, make it fun and enjoyable.
There are a wide range of dances from which to choose, and for all ages and abilities. We have classes in Freestyle Disco, Traditional and International Rock and Roll, Street Dance and Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballroom and Latin American, Musical Theatre and 'West End' Jazz.
We also have people who come to learn dances for forthcoming events; parties, weddings and special anniversaries.
The school operates from it's own well equipped studio, located close to the town centre. All teachers at the school are C.R.B. (Criminal Records Bureau) checked.
